About me
From the mic to the gym floor
After a career in communications, working at an advertising agency and as a radio host, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications in 2011.
In 2013, I began my fitness career as a Zumba instructor and later became certified in multiple disciplines, including Pound, STRONG Nation, B-Board, functional training, and circuit training. I also became a NASM-certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
After becoming a mom in 2018, I specialized in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise. Since then, I've been passionate about helping moms stay strong, healthy, and confident throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
As part of a military family, I move and travel often. That lifestyle inspired me to create @dayafitness — a space where I could combine my two passions: communications and fitness, wherever life takes me.
