THIS IS MY STORY
After a career in communications, working for an advertising agency, and also as a radio host, I got my bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications back in 2011.
In 2013, I started my fitness career as a Zumba instructor, later I got certified in other disciplines like Pound, Strong Nation, B-board, functional training, circuit training, and I became a personal trainer from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine).
After having my daughter, I became a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, to help other moms achieve their healthier selves during pregnancy and after childbirth.

I have a military family, so I travel and move a lot, that is why I created @dayafitness to collide both of my passions: mass communications + fitness, wherever I go.

Dayafitness was created with the purpose of helping people get a healthier lifestyle and change bad habits one at a time. My intent is to connect with my students and clients beyond the gym.

I have now reached an amazing online community to which I share not only workouts, healthy recipes and tips to reach a healthier life, but also some of my own experiences as a mom.
